How are artificial nails removed in a salon?

i need info on how to remove false nails..... acrylic, gel, silk, semi-permanent and temporary nails. im doing a course in health and beauty and need to design a leaflet about the above subject.How are artificial nails removed in a salon?
1.) Clip down the free edge


2.) lightly file the top so that the acetone will be able to penetrate the acrylic easier


3.) tear off 10 pieces of aluminum foil


4.) soak cotton in acetone and place over nail, cover with foil and twist so seal is tight


5.) repeat on all 10 nails


6.) add warm water to a manicure dish and have client dip nails in, or ask them to place their hands 6 inches underneath a standard light bulb


7.) remove cotton after 10 min, scrape off disolved acrylic and repeat process untill all is goneHow are artificial nails removed in a salon?
When they put them on there just glued, to take them of they just pop of.
Depending on the type of nails they can be removed by soaking in acetone and/or buffing/filing
He's right. Soak em in acetone and they will come right off.
By soaking them in acetone then when they are soft removing them
by soaking them in acetone for a while
they use nail clippers to shorten them and continue clipping until all acrylic is clipped off
